Shift Clock is a personal work-hours and paycheck tracker. It is built to work without an account, and your work log stays on your phone unless you choose to back it up.
Your work profile, jobs, shifts, breaks, tips, notes, and paycheck records are stored only on your device. You can use every core feature offline and without an account.
If you create an account, we store your email address and a copy of your work log (profile, jobs, completed shifts, and paycheck records) so you can restore it on another phone. This data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with Supabase. Each account can only access its own data. You can delete your account and its cloud backup at any time in Settings → Delete account; the work log on your phone is not affected.
We count anonymous app events, such as "shift added" or "clock in started", to understand which features are used. These events contain only the event name and an anonymous install ID. They never include pay amounts, notes, employer names, or your email address. Analytics are provided by PostHog.
If the app crashes, a crash report with technical details (device model, OS version, error message) may be sent to Sentry so we can fix it. Crash reports do not include screenshots or your personal information.
The free version shows banner ads from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google's ad SDK collects your IP address (which can be used to estimate an approximate location), ad interactions, diagnostics, and device identifiers such as the advertising ID. You can reset or delete the advertising ID in your Android settings. Premium removes ads.
Premium purchases are processed by Google Play. Subscription status is managed by RevenueCat. We do not receive your payment card details.
We do not sell your data. We do not collect your precise location. We do not share your work log with employers.
Shift Clock is made by KYSeung. To delete your account and its cloud backup, open the app and go to Settings → Delete account, or email the address below from the address you signed up with. This deletes your email address and the backed-up work log (profile, jobs, shifts, and paychecks) from our database right away. Copies in our hosting provider's backups are removed when those backups expire. The work log on your phone stays until you uninstall the app.
